Marsha Raye Childers Welsh, born in Norfolk, Virginia, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, in Dade City, Florida. She was the beloved daughter of the late Melton Ray Childers and Beauton Eureka Slocum, and the stepdaughter of the late George Semion.
Marsha was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Welsh (January 27, 2023), and is survived by her loving children, Steven Allen Miller and his wife, Brandi Pagano Miller and Tiffany Rebecca Welsh. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Destiny Roberts, Dezron Roberts, Jr., Niko Lowry, Landon Miller and Townes Pagano as well as five great-grandchildren. Marsha is survived by her siblings Terry Cusson and Randy Childers, and was predeceased by siblings Richard Childers and Robert Childers.
Marsha had a passion for life, baking, reading and sewing. In retirement, she and her husband enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and discovered a deep love for Florida, where they made their home for several years.
She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
