Marlene Slade, 68, passed away January 4, 2024. She was born October 25, 1958 in New Jersey, daughter of Caarl and Antonia Mehlhorn. She was united in marriage to Wade Slade in 1977 and together they had three children. Marlene was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a rare spirit with a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed cooking, baking, puzzle's, spending time with her family and doting on her granddaughter. She is survived by her husband, Wade Slade; her children, Jason, Christopher and Sarah Slade; beloved granddaughter, Aris Slade; siblings, Richard Mehlhorn, Anita Hoyle and Norma Griffith; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Antonia Mehlhorn, in-laws, Christine and Donald Slade, sister, Patricia Gash and nephew Matthew Mehlhorn. Per Marlene's request, no service will be held. Her ashes will distributed in her favorite City, St Augustine by her loved ones at a later date. She will always be in our hearts.
