Markus "Cody" Rutland, 22, passed away on March 10, 2019 in Dade City, Florida. He is survived by his fiance: Shelby Powell; daughter: Amelia Grace; unborn baby Rutland; father: Mark Rutland; mother: April Rutland; siblings: Malarie LaPoint (Anthony), Emily Rutland, Angela Rutland, and David Rutland; and many extended family members and friends. Cody enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going to baseball games, and fishing. He was a very talented musician and a member of Crossing Jordan. A visitation will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home Hwy 301 Dade City on Thursday, March 14 from 6-8 pm. The service will be on Friday, March 15 at 11am. Burial will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.
