Mark David Snyderman, 71, of San Antonio, Florida, passed away on May 5th, 2023 at home. Mark was born on September 25, 1951 to Irving and Rose (Kramer) Snyderman in Brooklyn, New York. Mark is survived by his wife, Celeste Mabella (Gunn) Snyderman.

Mark graduated from Ellenville Junior - Senior High School in 1970. He went on to attend Hudson Valley Community College before joining the United States Air Force in 1971. Mark later earned a Healthcare Administration degree from Kennedy Western University.

Mark was a radiologic technologist for the United States Air Force and served until 1981. During those years, Mark was stationed in Lackland, TX, Wichita Falls, TX, Limestone, ME, Columbus, MI, and Lewiston, ME. Mark then spent the next 35 years working at Rome Memorial Hospital, retiring as the Vice President of Planning and Outpatient Services in 2016.

Mark's main source of pride and commitment was his family, friends, and faith. Those three attributes were the foundation of how Mark lived his life. His love for his family was unwavering. Mark adored his children and his grandchildren and took every opportunity to teach, guide and inspire each of them. From organizing family vacations to chats on the phone, Mark cherished those moments where memories were created.

Mark was a loyal and trusted friend who understood the importance of cultivating lasting and meaningful relationships. He positively impacted those around him to see the opportunities and potential within themselves. Mark cherished the bonds he built with friends and colleagues over the years and never missed an opportunity to reconnect with them.

Mark's faith was all-encompassing. His integrity and loyalty were the backbone of how he lived his life. He led by example and remained strong, firm, and humble to these core traits. His character was unmatched. Mark is one of the rare people admired by many and respected by all who crossed his path.

Mark is survived by his wife, Celeste (Gunn) Snyderman; his son, Matthew (Stacy) Snyderman, of Rochester; his daughter, Ann McGowan, of Rome; his grandsons, Logan and Ethan Snyderman, of Rochester; his granddaughters Elizabeth and Allison McGowan, of Rome; his niece, Victoria Gauch, of Clearwater, FL, and his grandniece, Cara (Steve) Brochu, of Gloucester Point, VA.

A memorial mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Florida on Tuesday, May 16th at 10:00 am. Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday May 18th, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 at St. Paul's Church, 1807 Bedford St. Rome, NY. A memorial service will be on Friday, May 19th, at 11:00 am at St. Paul's church in Rome.
