Mark Medon, 55, of Eagle Lake, passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2026. Born on January 18, 1971, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Alan and Cheryl Medon.
Mark was a vibrant soul known for his tireless work ethic, his drive for perfection, and an unwavering love for everything and everyone he cared about—especially his family and the Detroit Lions. He possessed honesty, integrity, and loyalty in equal measure. Full of energy and enthusiasm, Mark was a beacon for so many, living life to the fullest and leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met. He was deeply loved and will be missed more than words can express.
Mark is survived by the love of his life, Mary Medon; his son, Zachary (Emily) Medon; his daughter, Amber (Brett) Hutson; and his cherished granddaughters, Kenley and Everley. He is also survived by his brother, Craig (Robin) Medon, his nephew, Matthew Medon and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mark was predeceased by his parents; his sister Marcine Medon; his uncle Scott Yateman; and his niece, Sarah Medon. Visitation will be held 1:30-2 pm with service to follow at LifePoint Church on May 29th.
