Marisol Aydelice Leonely Natera Mejia Lozano, age 83, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 29, 2026, in Tampa, Florida.Born on June 20, 1942, in El Seibo, Dominican Republic, Marisol was the beloved daughter of Leonte Mejia and Ysabel Georgina Lozano. She spent her early years in the Dominican Republic before later residing in New York City, West Virginia, Dade City, and Tampa, Florida.On January 4, 1968, she married the love of her life, Leonte Edilberto Natera Candelaria. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and devotion. Leonte preceded her in death in 1992.Marisol dedicated much of her life to caring for others as a homemaker and daycare worker. She was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. Her greatest accomplishment was being a loving mother, and grandmother who always placed her family first.She found joy in many hobbies and interests, especially Disney, gardening, arts and crafts, and caring for her beloved pets. Those who knew her will remember her warmth, compassion, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and loved.Marisol is survived by her daughters, Isabel Bertram and husband, John Bertram, Aidelice Natera and husband, Joseph Montagna; her grandchildren, Sydney Bertram and John Bertram Jr.; her siblings, Leonte Mejia, Luis Nuñez, and Elizabeth Nuñez Mercado; and numerous nieces and nephews including Cynthia Mejia, Romell Mejia, Luis Nuñez, Yira Mejia de Simon, Joann Shareef, Amanda Brenna, Joseph Carrasquillo and Samantha Mercado. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonte Edilberto Natera Candelaria, and her sister, Rosangeles Carrasquillo, who passed away in 2025.Marisol’s legacy of kindness, generosity, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
