Marion C. McDonald, 92 of Zephyrhills, FL passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025. Marion is survived by her brother David (Bev) Blakeslee of Syracuse, NY; grandson Joseph (Michelle) McDonald of Cayuga, NY; granddaughter Kristie (Brian) Harkins and two great-grandchildren Reilly and Lochlan, of Briarcliff Manor, NY; Darlne (Louis) Colandria; nieces and nephews; lifelong friends Peter and Ellen Meloling and their children, Peter (Tammy) Dylan, Joseph and Aaron (Angel).

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Frank McDonald Sr., her beloved son, Frank Jr., her parents Charles and Erma and sisters Ginny and Dorothy.

Marion was a volunteer and member of the Plainville Fire Ladies Auxiliary and the Cayuga County Home Bureau. Marion and Frank later chose to retire in Florida and move here full time.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends in the Oaks Royal community.

A special thank you to Pete and Ellen, who graciously cared for Marion and allowed her to remain at home through her final days.

Her family is hosting a small, private memorial service to honor her long life. She will be laid to rest in Green Lawn Cemetery in Warners, New York. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society.
