Marion Jeanette Siok passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026 in Wesley Chapel, Florida. She was born on November 16, 1927, in Jamaica, New York, to Richard Ford and Gertrude Rausch.
Marion graduated from John Adam’s High School in Queens, New York and participated in many athletics & clubs including, basketball, volleyball, life saving, leaders club & business club. After graduation she worked for JC Penney as a secretary.
She was united in marriage to Thaddeus Siok on June 3rd 1950 at St Teresa Avila church in Richmond Hill, New York. A union of 69 years until his passing in 2019. While raising their two daughters Marion worked as administrative assistant to the provost at Hofstra University.
After retirement she continued to enjoy hobbies including swimming, knitting, traveling and was an avid gardener. Some of her favorite trips were Hawaii, Ireland, and a cruise through the Panama Canal. She was a faithful member of Notre Dame church in New Hyde Park, New York and was a member of the RoSary Society. She was also a member of the New Hyde Park, New York Leisure Club before moving to San Antonio Florida in 2013 to be close to family.
Marion is survived by daughters Linda (Augie) DiNardo of San Antonio Florida, and Eileen (Kent) Plemmons of Clyde, North Carolina. Grandson Corey DiNardo of Chicago, Illinois and granddaughter Kelsey DiNardo of Wesley Chapel, Florida.
She was predeceased by her husband Thaddeus Walter Siok, and parents, Richard Ford and Gertrude Rausch.
The DiNardo and Plemmons family extends heartfelt thanks to the CNA’s and nurses at Blue Heron Assisted Living and Memory Care as well as VITAS hospice for their compassionate care.
