ROGERS, Marilyn Elizabeth, 69, born in Tampa, FL., beloved wife, mother, sister and grand-mother, became an angel in heaven on April 11, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Kenneth M. Rogers; 2 sons, Dennis W. Rogers (Tammie) and Keith W. Rogers; 3 brothers, Harry, Greg and Gary Scrivener; 4 grandchildren, Wesley, Trevor, Jessica and Megan; and her dog, Pasco. She retired from the Hillsborough County School System and enjoyed traveling with her husband all over the US, Alaska, Hawaii and the Caribbean, with a special love for the train. We will have a memorial/celebration of life service on April 15th at 3PM at the home of Keith Rogers, 5629 Renfro Ln., Tampa, FL 33625. We invite you to join us for food, refreshments, music and to celebrate her beautiful life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Byrd Alzheimer's Center at USF.
