Marie Alice Sicola, 80, passed away in Wesley Chapel, FL on March 13, 2026.
Alice was born in Galveston, Texas on January 11, 1946 to parents Jamie and Marie Gewin. She had one sister, Mary Anne. Alice's highschool years were successful, graduating as co-salutatorian of Dominican High School. Alice went on to attend the University of Houston, where she met her husband, Charles "Charlie" Vincent Sicola. She also attended the College of DuPage.
Alice and Charlie married in October of 1965, spending 60 years together. In the decades they spent with one another, they welcomed 3 children: Chuck, Trenton, and Andrea. Alice also took great pride in being the best mom to five dogs in her time with Charlie. They were fondly named Sasha, Butter, and Pepper, with the last two being from popular TV series: Scully and Beckett.
Although Alice and Charlie lived in many different places: Texas, Illinois, Connecticut, and Georgia, they finally settled in Florida. However, she never lost her Houston pride. She loved watching University of Houston sports, Astros games, and most importantly: wearing the color red.
Alice was deeply enthralled in her passion of working as a skincare and beauty consultant for Mary Kay. She dedicated decades of her life to the company and truly loved her career, accepting numerous awards and prizes earned from her performance. Charlie fondly recalls each time they would attend the Mary Kay beauty conventions in their beloved Texas, with thousands of women sharing the exact same joy in the beauty business.
Alice had many other hobbies in her lifetime, such as reading and great talent in painting. She was also devoted to her faith, taking part in many church activities. Alice was a Newman Club Member as well.
Alice is survived by: her husband of 60 years, Charlie Sicola, her children: Chuck (Lynette) Sicola of Greensboro, NC, Trenton (Rosemary) Sicola of Lilburn, GA, and Andrea (Sean) Callahan of Wesley Chapel, FL, and one grandchild: Kayli Callahan. She is also survived by her sister: Mary Ann Padron, her sibling-in-laws: Mike (Valerie) Sicola, and Steve Sicola. There are also nephews and nieces: Jay (Erika) LeGros, Todd (Pilar) Sicola, Amber (Shane) Pinchock-Sicola, and great niece and nephew Carina and Cameron Sicola.
She is predeceased by her parents: Jamie and Marie Gewin, her in-laws: Helen Sicola, Vincent and Shirley Sicola, her niece, Angelina "Angie" Sicola, and her dogs: Sasha, Butter, Pepper, Scully, and Beckett.
Alice is most fondly remembered for her honesty, her faith, her level of compassion, her intellect, and her sense of humor. She was a genuine and kind woman, who enjoyed sharing life's beauty with others.
Services for Alice will be held on Saturday, March 21st from 1-4 P.M. The viewing will take place from 1:00-2:00 P.M., with the reception and celebration of life from 2:00-4:00 P.M.
Although Alice loved flowers, she was very passionate about animals. Please consider making a donation to the ASPCA in her honor using the following link: ASPCA Donation .
