Marie Ann (Zeits) Roth, age 78 went home to her Heavenly Father on August 10, 2026. Marie was the oldest daughter and 3rd in line of 6 children of Jerome and Winifred Zeits. She was born on January 8, 1948 in Traverse City, MI.

A 1967 graduate of St Mary's Catholic School in Lake Leelanau MI, she furthered her education at Ferris, NMC and Mott's. Her dedication and compassion as an RN touched many, especially in the care of the elder and hospice in Flint, MI, Maumee OH and Myrtle Beach SC. In her spare time, Marie enjoyed sewing, quilting and after retirement; gardening, travel and time spent with family and friends.

Her family and friends describe her as determined, compassionate, friendly loving and caring, and having a great sense of humor.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Wendi, (Scott) Eldred. grandchildren, Emily Eldred, Branden Eldred, great granddaughter Annabelle Eldred, brothers Richard (Thyra) Zeits; Michael (Elizabeth) Zeits, Barbara (Richard) Ance, Gregory (Linda) Zeits, Madelyn (David) Zeigler. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Special mass to be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. at St. Anthony the Abott Catholic Church.
