Marie Rose Roc, age 91, of Zephyrhills Florida, passed away Monday, October 9th, 2023 at her home. Born in Jacmel, Haiti, she was the daughter of Rodshild Comice and Ilanise Roc. Marie loved going to the casinos with her friends, she also loved traveling, France was her favorite place to visit. She loved tennis, she never missed a game where Serena and Federer were involved. This past year, she got to experience one of the greatest joys of her life this past year, the arrival of the twins great granddaughters Yva and Alicia. She is survived by her children: Yva, Yvrose, Victor and his spouse Alina, Marie Willie, Maxime and his spouse Linda, and Marie Sosthenes; twenty-six grandchildren: Andy, Ralph, Rondolph, David, Cindy, Farah, Clara, Vanessa, Alexander, Alexa, Christopher, Herwick, Jean, Charles, Jerome, Florian, Stephania, Patrick, Alexandra, Lionel, Terrel, Kanysha, Cyana, Arabella, and Roman; and fourteen great-grandchildren: Giovani, Leila, Diede, Deiden, Dieuda, Mateo, Chelsea, Kimora, Frederick, Keila Rose, Airah, Rayan, Yva, and Alicia. Marie is preceded in death by one son, Herwick. Marie was the central point of her familys lives, and she loved it, there was nothing more important than family. The star in all of her kids eyes, she will be missed beyond words, but will live on forever in our memories. A visitation will be held from 5pm-8pm on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel in Dade City. A funeral mass will be held at 10am on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
