It is with great love and admiration that we would like to announce the passing of Marie Danielewicz Harchut. She was 90 at the time of her death, born January 23,1934. On the date of her death, November 20,2024 she resided with her youngest daughter and son-in-law, Sherri & Ken Cheline in Dade City, Florida.

The sadness we feel in our hearts is lightened by the laughter, love and memories she gave to each one of us and those around her.

Marie (Mania) was born in Scranton, PA to Isabelle and John Danielewicz and had one brother James Danielewicz who predeceased her in 2016.

She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Dickson City, PA. Shortly after, she married John J. Harchut from Blakely, PA, they had a blessed marriage of 60 yrs. until his passing in 2015.

Marie raised 7 children then went on to a 20-year career in the aviation industry, eventually retiring from American Airlines.

She was an expert seamstress as well as talented in crochet /knitting.

She and John spent 20 years volunteering at the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA on Divine Mercy Sunday while she lived in LaVerne, CA and can be seen daily in The Chaplet of Divine Mercy on EWTN. She was proud of her faith and her family and never turned her back on either.

We will miss her immensely, as we already do, but take solace in knowing she is where she always hoped, with our Lord Jesus Christ and reunited with the one true love of her life while here on earth.

Rest well our precious Mother, Grandmother (Babci), Great Grandma (Pra babka), Mother-in-Law (mom) & Friend. We all love you and are better people because of you.

Marie is survived by 7 children. Mary & Dan Meier, Denise & Kevin McGuire, Kate Breen, John Harchut, Jim & Cindi Harchut, Sherri & Ken Cheline and Joe Harchut, 11 Grandchildren & 7 Great Grandchildren.
