Marie Gore (Capuano) 89, of Dade City, Florida, formerly of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully to eternal life on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 surrounded by her family. Beloved mother of Kenneth Gore, Gerard Gore (Kim), and Christine Hofer (Jack). Loving grandmother of Kimberly Fraley-Carpenter, Jennifer Gore, Alex Gore (Kayla), and Matthew Hofer. Great-grandmother of John Paul, Sierra, James, and Brodie Marie. Also, Sister-in-law, Ann Capuano and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marie was preceded in death by John, her husband of 62 years, and her parents, Peter and Della Capuano, as well as her brother, John Capuano. Marie was an active member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Dade City, FL and formerly St. John the Baptist parish in Plum Boro, PA. Friends will be received from 5 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, April 3, at Hodges Family Funeral Home, U. S. Highway 301, Dade City, FL. Funeral Mass will be at Saint Rita Catholic Church, Dade City, FL on Wednesday, April 4, at 11 am. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery. Memorial contributions suggested to be made to either St. Josephs Indian School, Chamberlain, SD, or Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington DC.
