RICH, Marian Owens, age 70, of Dade City, FL passed away on December 16, 2019 in Tampa, FL. She was born on February 10, 1949 in Dade City, FL to parents Roland Eugene Owens & Mary Alice Watson Owens, who preceded her in death. Marian graduated from Pasco High school in 1967 and earned her Master's Degree in Education from the University of South Florida in 1978. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dade City and the teaching sorority, Alpha Delta Kappa.After earning her education, Marian went on to work for the Pasco County School System, retiring after 30 years of dedicated service. In her spare time, Marian loved to spend time with her girlfriends whether they were going on various adventures or simply relaxing at her river house. More than anything, however, Marian enjoyed her family. Fondly known as "Meema" to her grandchildren, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her husband and grandsons will especially remember their trips to the Tennessee mountains where many memories were made. Along with her husband James "Larry" Rich, Marian is survived by one son, Clint Rich; one daughter, Heather Rich Fiorelli (Richard); two grandsons: Jackson Fiorelli and Austin Fiorelli; one sister, Linda Hurst; and many other friends and loved ones. A visitation will take place from 1-3pm on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel in Dade City, FL. Private burial will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens at a later date.
