Maria Torres- Martinez also known as "Casin", 81 years of age lived in Zephyrhills Florida, died in her home and went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, August 18, 2020, due to Natural Causes.

Born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico on November 21, 1938, to the late Pedro Torres and Evangelista Negron.

She was survived by her husband of 48 years Antonio Martinez-Rodriguez of Zephyrhills. Also, two Sons, two Daughters, and one Stepdaughter, Frank R. Olmeda (Elizabeth) of Trenton, N.J., Elliot M. Olmeda (Minette) of Zephyrhills F.L., Idalia Olmeda of Zephyrhills F.L., Helen E. Martinez (David Barber) of Zephyrhills F.L., and Betsy Martinez of Orlando F.L. She had 21 Grandchildren and 19 Great GrandChildren.

Her Brothers and Sisters Gilberto Torres (Deceased), Basilides Torres, Hector R. Santiago, Elba Ortiz, Angel Luis (Deceased), Jose Anibal Rosario, Maria Lonza Santiago (Deceased), Maria Axia Collazo, and Jeanette Feliciano. Also many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Maria AKA Casin worked as a caseworker for the government in New Jersey, She was also a Certified Nurse Assistant, and waitress at Woolworth's cafeteria, but her passion was being a seamstress for many years. She Designed her own work along with crafts and created many original clothing designs for numerous people including members of her families.

She Lived in Puerto Rico, Lancaster Pennsylvania, Atlantic City New Jersey, Trenton New Jersey, and Albany Georgia.

She was A God-fearing woman that always put God First. She would preach the gospel everywhere she went reminding all of us that Jesus is the center of our lives and without him we are nothing. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and was the heart and soul of the family always keeping the family together. She is "OUR QUEEN".

A very sweet, kind, caring, humble, respectable and Fancy Woman. She made many sacrifices for those she loved, she taught us all what unconditional love was all about. She embraced everyone with that love.

She will be deeply missed everyday of our lives, but never forgotten for the impact that she left behind in the life of those she knew and loved her.
