Maria Lara De Hernandez, 71,of Dade City, Florida passed away Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was born on April 16,1950 in Guanajuato Mexico to Jesus and Gregoria Lara. She moved to Dade City, Florida in 1992. She was an avid gardener and follower of Christ. Maria is preceded in death by her beloved son: Fernando (Paco) Hernandez Lara. Maria is survived by her husband: Amador Hernandez; and her children: Concepcion Hernandez, Jesus Hernandez, Arturo Hernandez, Veronica Hernandez, Martha Hernandez, Alejandro Hernandez, Amador Hernandez, Gabriela Hernandez and Janet Sanchez Hernandez; 38 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 28th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City.
