Maria Antonia Rendon-De La Garza passed to be with our Lord at the age of 75 years on July 31, 2021, in Dade City, FL. She was born on September 25, 1945, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Jose Isaac and Natividad Rendon.

Our beloved mother was a strong woman who raised eight children on her own. A very strong and humbled person who lived and believed in the Lords promise. Mother would prepare porridge for us and read us bible stories at bedtime. Never self-centered she always put the Lord and her family before herself. She was zealous for the Lord and loved the Lord with all of her heart, mind and strength. Our mother loved to sing and whistle songs to the Lord. She was always thankful to God for a new day no matter what may come, expressing thanks by singing songs and whistling praise to her creator. My mother knew no strangers. Always lending help to those in need in whatever ways she could up to her last days on this earth.

Maria is survived by her eight children, Delores, Angelica, Ricardo, Alicia, Ramon Eduardo, Marta, Elena and Noemi; twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers Asencion, Juan Inez, Juan Antonio, and Florentino Rendon. Not to be left out, her dog Brownie.

Preceding her in death are both parents and her beloved sister Margarita Sanchez all of Elsa, Texas.

Visitation will be 12-1 pm on Monday, August 9, 2021 followed by the Christian services from 1-2:30 pm at Templo Manantial de Vida Inc., 37845 Martin Luther King Blvd., Dade City, FL 33523, Pastor Marcelo Hernanez officiating. The interment will follow at Florida Gardens, Dade City, Fl. Suggested floral arrangements may be ordered from Bonita Flower shop at 352-567-6795. To conclude, a Celebration of Life dinner will be provided by the parishioners following the burial at Templo Manantial de Vida Inc.
