SANCHEZ, Maria de la Luz, age 80, of Dade City, FL passed away on March 22, 2020. She was born on May 27, 1939 in Nayarit, Mexico to parents Nicolas & Margarita Aguayo. Maria was the eldest of ten surviving siblings. Throughout her entire life, she was a hardworking and kind mother that loved to sew, cook, bake, tend to her garden, and most especially tend to her family and friends. Maria de la Luz married Adalberto M. Sanchez on July 1, 1962 in Guadalajara, Mexico and shortly after moved to Indiana. They were married for 54 wonderful years. Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Adalberto M. Sanchez. She is survived by five children: Luz D. Rodriguez (Armando), Maria S. Jimenez (Alvaro), Letty Larkin (Gordon), Gricelda Harris (Dock), and Raul S. Sanchez (Jill); twenty-three grandchildren: Amanda Urbano (Julio), Maria Johnson (Jake), Diego Rodriguez (T'ari), Cristoval Jimenez, Giovanni Jimenez (Ashlee), Jessica Jimenez (Cristhian), Bridget Jimenez, Jorge Jaramillo, Elias Jaramillo, Amber Knee, Jacob Larkin, Jesse Larkin, Austin Larkin, Daniella Behnke, Hayley Harris, Hyatt Harris, Brinley Harris, Ian Sanchez, Ithan Sanchez, Isaiah Sanchez, Briar Sanchez, Ethan Frix and Bryce Frix; and five great-grandchildren: Avery, Ava, Mabry, Olivia, and Mia.

A private service will be held on March 26, 2020.
