Margy Cosentino, 73 of Dade City, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 at the Gulfside Center for Hospice Care in Bayfront Medical Center in Dade City surrounded by family. She was born on Nov. 15, 1941 in Stamford, Connecticut and has been a resident of Dade City, Florida for many years; she was the owner of The Quaker Bar in Dade City where she considered her employees and patrons as family. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW and was an avid sports fan (GO BUCS)! She is survived by 2 daughters: Lisa (Larry) Nyman of Bushnell, FL, Theresa (Curtis) Sampson of Ridge Manor FL, a son: Edward (Laure) Nyman of Dade City, FL, 4 grandsons: Derrick (Jennifer) Nyman of Bushnell, FL, Christopher (Jenna) Nyman of Bushnell, FL, Joey (Krystal) Nyman of Ridge Manor, FL and Xavier Sampson of Ridge Manor, FL, a granddaughter: Zoe Sampson of Ridge Manor, FL, 5 great-granddaughters: Savannah, Abby & Layne Nyman of Bushnell, FL, Alexis and Mercades Nyman of Ridge Manor, FL, a great grandson: Andrew Nyman of Ridge Manor, FL, 2 brothers: Charles (Donna) Baptist of Zephyrhills, FL, Bill (Sharon) Nau of Kittery, ME, a sister: Joal (Dexter) Gibson of Manchester, OH, Many loved nieces and nephews. Margy was preceded in death by her parents: Charles & Frances Baptist. Services will be held on Sunday, December 14th at 1:00 pm at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Hwy 301, Dade City, where her family will receive friends from 11:00 am until service time. Margy loved all sports so the family would like for everyone to wear their favorite sports jersey for the services.
