Margaret Thompson 82, of Dade City, FL passed away Monday, November 19, 2018. She was born January 19, 1936 in Lamont, FL to William David & Willie Ruth Andrews Sheffield. She worked for both Crowley Insurance and L.G. Edwards Insurance Co. and retired from St. Leo College in administration. She was a Baptist and attended Withlacoochee Missionary Baptist Church. Margaret is survived by 2 sons: David and Kevin (Brenda); 1 daughter: Leatrice (Bill); 1 brother: Wayne (Angie); 1 sister: Mary Lee (Horace); 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Leland Thompson; and 1 son: Michael. Funeral Services will be held 11am Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, burial to follow at Dade City Cemetery. The family will receive friends for viewing one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Hwy 301M Visitation
