RAGSDALE, Margaret "Peggy" 78 of San Antonio, FL died on Friday, July 14, 2017 at her residence. Peggy was born in Long Beach, CA to George and Henrietta (Hussman) Greensfelder. She met a wonderful sailor and her future husband, Robert "Bob" Ragsdale, in San Diego, CA where they were married in 1961. As a Navy wife, she traveled the country with Bob while raising two children and always being active in her local community church. They eventually retired to Florida relocating to San Antonio, Fl in 2000. At Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club, Peggy was a First Responder for many years as well as a member of the Tampa Bay Tootsies. She was an active member of the Community United Methodist Church in San Antonio and enjoyed painting, gardening, and spending time with her many friends. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Robert and son Timothy; she is survived by her daughter Robyn Ragsdale (Colin Beach) of Tampa and two loving grandchildren Kamryn Beach & Zachary Beach (of which she was very proud). A Celebration of Life will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017 at the Community United Methodist Church, 32606 Michigan Ave, San Antonio with a committal and interment service taking place at 1:30 pm at Florida National Cemetery where Peggy will be laid to rest with her husband. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pasco County Humane Society, Community United Methodist Church of San Antonio, or the Salvation Army. Funeral Service
