Margaret Sikes Martin passed away on Saturday, September 1st, at the Florida Hospital in Zephyrhills, Florida. She was born on August 14, 1920, in Lumber City, Georgia. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Martin, and a daughter, Evelyn Janice Blackmon. Margaret is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Brooks, and a son, William Martin, both of Dade City, Florida. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Lisa Brooks Saviola and 2 great-granddaughters, Katherine and Allison Saviola, all of whom reside in Tampa, FL. Additionally, she is survived by a sister, Evelyn Martin, Tampa, FL, and a brother, Richard Sikes, Arlington, TX, and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was the cashier at Lykes Pasco Packing Company in Dade City where she retired in 1985 after 23 years of service. A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 8th, with funeral services following at 10:30 a.m. at Hodges Funeral Home located at Hwy 301 S in Dade City, Florida.
