Margaret L. Hinson (Midgie), age 75, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 surrounded by family. A lifelong resident of San Antonio, she was born on January 28, 1945 to parents James (Jack) G. Rice & Marie C Best.

She will be remembered for the unconditional love for her family and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Hinson; her parents: James (Jack) G. Rice, Marie C. Best, and stepfather, Thomas Best; and three brothers: Jackie Rice, William (Billy) Rice, and Johnny Rice.

She is survived by two sisters: Mary Alice Lethco and Sandra Jean Rice; three daughters: Angela (David) Ellis, Melissa (Charlie) Daugherty, and Tammy Huckelby; one son-in-law, Larry Huckelby Sr.; grandchildren: Summer Love, Larry Huckelby Jr. (Kenzie Anderton), Robert (Monique) Huckelby, Lauren Ellis, Heather Huckelby, Ricky Gonzalez, Michael Daugherty, Dale Daugherty, Brianna Huckelby, and Brooke Daugherty; and great-grandchildren: Frankie Love, Arianna Meza, Caesar Meza III, Audrina Ramirez, Mason Gonzalez, Jaxon Gonzalez, Lane Huckelby, Ella Huckelby, and Laken Huckelby; along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

A visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, FL. A funeral service will begin at 2pm.
