Margaret Ellen Evans was born on April 13, 1954 in Muskegon, MI to Clark Gail and Eula Jean Nutter Evans and she was reunited with them, and her niece Danielle, in Heaven on December 2nd, 2023. May that knowledge provide comfort to her loved ones that are still here, especially to her loving brother, Clark Gail, her beloved sister, Barb, her many nieces and nephews, and her wonderful caregivers. Margie enjoyed spending time with the family that she dearly loved and holiday gatherings were her absolute favorite times. On holiday afternoons she would wait (not so patiently) while dinner was prepared. While waiting, she loved to color and to listen to and tell stories with friends and family and to look at photos. She also liked to joke around and she will be most remembered for her infectious laugh. However, once dinner was ready, she wasn't afraid to tell you exactly what she wanted (and didn't) want on her plate. In addition to coloring and meal time, she enjoyed shopping, attending day programs, and going to church when she was able. One of her favorite things was to receive small gifts such as coloring books, purses, jewelry, shoes, cups, stuffed animals, and blankets. She was ecstatic to receive mail, especially her weekly mail from Barb, which was usually a card and a few dollars to spend. Although her life was difficult, Margie was loved by many and well taken care of by her caregivers, especially for the last seven years. Victoria and all of the staff at Osborne Manor cared for and loved Margie like she was their family. Margie loved them all and spoke very highly of her extended family. The exceptional care that she received was a great relief to Barb, Gail, and the rest of her loved ones. Margie would want her friends and family to find peace in the knowledge that she is now free of illness and at rest in the loving arms of Jesus Christ and that she is rejoicing with the loved ones that have passed before her.
