Malcolm Nicholas Gibbs Jr. August 6, 2023 one of our branches broke off our tree. Malcolm Nicholas Gibbs Jr. "Buddy" (August 17, 1955 August 6, 2023) has taken his last run. Malcolm is survived by his wife Violet Gibbs of 49 years. His only son Malcolm N. Gibbs III and wife Jennifer, Grandchildren Malcolm IV, Jordan, and Shelby. His beloved pet Shelby who stayed by his side till the end. He is preceded by his Father Malcolm Gibbs Sr., Mother Pearl Gibbs, Sisters Evelyn, Joyce, Sheila, and one Brother Leon Gibbs. His surviving siblings include Brenda, Carolyn, Glenn, and Nancy as well as several nieces and nephews. Buddy loved spending time with family and friends as well as fishing, airboating, fabricating, and drag racing. His carriers consisted of logging and long-haul truck driving. Over the years of his shifting gears Buddy was best known to the trucking community on the CB radio as "Shiny". His services will be held on Sunday August 13, 2023 at Hodges Funeral home in Dade City, FL. Visitation is at 1pm and service at 2pm. After the services family and friends will gather at the home of Malcolm and Violet to continue his celebration of life with food and fellowship.
