Obituary

Lynne S. Nadeau, 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 7, 2025, at her home in Zephyrhills, Florida. Born on August 22, 1942, in Pontiac, Michigan, Lynne was the daughter of Hinton B. and Evelyn M. Edmondson and the devoted sister of Patricia J. Edmondson.

A proud graduate of Holy Name Academy in St. Leo, Florida, Lynne continued her education at Florida Southern College in Lakeland. Over the years, she built a life rooted in hard work, community, and family. Lynne was formerly the co-owner of Zephyr Liquors and later enjoyed a well-earned retirement. She loved spending quiet days reading, cheering on her favorite football teams, and relaxing on the water boating and fishing. Above all, she treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were truly the joy of her life.

Lynne is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Nadeau. She was the cherished mother of Teresa L. Joiner (husband John) and Harold B. Daniels (fiancée Marika). She was a proud grandmother to James K. Swetland (wife Natalie); Collin J. Joiner (wife Christina); Cortni R. Joiner (fiancé George); and Alexis N. Dunlap, and a delighted great-grandmother to Zachary, Aiden, Joey, Isabella, and Henry.

Lynne is also survived by her sister Patricia J. Edmondson, her niece Angie Brooks and spouse Jannette, and loving stepdaughter Lyne Nadeau and her children: Raymond VanBroeckel, Cassie Hamelin, John VanBroeckel and Selene Myerscough. She leaves behind dear friends, including Bonnie Klinkefus and Correen C. Pike, as well as cousins Judi Riddell, Marcia Ramah, Frank Edmondson, and Susan Galsterer

Her beloved cat, Tuxie, brought her endless companionship.

Lynne was preceded in death by her parents, Hinton and Evelyn Edmondson, and by her former spouses, Harold D. Daniels and Gerald Bock.
