IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lydia Yolanda
Monfort De Meono
March 20, 1944 – May 30, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our respected matriarch, Lydia Yolanda Monfort de Meono, at the age of 81. Mrs. Monfort de Meono passed away peacefully, surrounded by her devoted family. Born on March 20, 1944, in Guatemala, Lydia was a beacon of love and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As the devoted wife of 54 years to Arnoldo Meono, mother to six children, grandmother to fourteen, and great-grandmother to three, she was affectionately known as "Mamita," and was indeed the heart and soul of her family. Lydia possessed an unwavering zest for life; she enjoyed dancing, listening to music, and cooking. Her passion for the outdoors encompassed barbecuing, spending time at the beach, and gardening. Adventurous and bold, she set an exemplary standard for motherhood and humanity.
She epitomized the virtues of unconditional love, strength, and generosity, and will be profoundly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. The family respectfully requests that Lydia be remembered for the joy, laughter, and love that she brought into the lives of others, rather than the sorrow of her departure.
"Mamita" was the heart and soul of our family. She was married for 54 years to her lovely husband, Arnoldo Meono. She raised six children, (Syliva, Mayra, Cesar, Danny, Sandy, and Nilda).
She is survived by her husband of 54 years Arnoldo Meono, their children Sylvia, Mayra, Cesar, Danny, Sandy and Nilda, and their growing families.
