Lydia Borges of Zephyrhills, Florida, (age 70), passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025. Graveside services will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 10am.There will be a celebration of life service held after the graveside services, at Golden Corral in Zephyrhills, Florida directly following.

Lydia had a life long passion for children and families. She devoted her career to social service and counseling. Outside of her professional dedication, was her focus towards her faith in God, and personal relationships. Lydia's personality and sense of humor will never be forgotten by those that knew her in life.

Lydia is survived by aunt Margie Ammons (Colorado), sisters Cindy Eaton (Colorado) and Deedee Borges (North Carolina), son and daughter in-law Daniel and Stephanie Critser (Oklahoma), daughter in-law Christina Connor (Florida), daughter Rebekah Mead (Florida), grandchildren Brandon Blue-Eyes (Florida), Caleb/ Nala Critser (Oklahoma), Joshua Critser (Oklahoma), Jonathan Critser and partner Ashley Franz (Florida), great-grand children Cassiel Critser, and Charlotte Tibbs (Florida).

Lydia was preceded in death by her paternal grand-parents Rogelio and Juanita "Jenny" Borges (Florida), parents Roy Borges (Florida) and Eleanor Borges (New York), former husbands Gonzalo Martinez (Mexico/Florida) and John Critser (California), and son Jeremy Critser (Florida).

We will miss her as she celebrates eternity in perfect love, joy, and peace.
