Lula M. Simmons 78, of Dade City passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 in Lakeland.She was born November 15, 1938 in Midway, AL to Robert & Jeanette Battle Rogers. She is survived by her surrogate son: Dexter Rogers(Rachel), Lakeland, Florida; 2 granddaughters: Danyelle Rogers, Desirae Rogers; 1 sister: Annie Stark (Albert), Georgia; 1 brother: Willie Rogers, Dade City, Florida; 3 sisters-in-law: Rosalie Rogers, Fort Myers, Florida, Annie Pearl Rogers, Alabama, Annie Clare Rogers, Alabama; and niece: Sandra Thomas (Aurora), Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held 11am Saturday, September 9, 2017 at At The Church of the Living Christ on Johnson Street in Dade City, with burial to follow at Dade City Cemetery.
