Lucille Belle Haralson (DeWitt), 90 died from complications from pneumonia on Thursday, July 23, 2015 in Dade City, Florida.She was born in Norwich, Connecticut on January 9, 1925, daughter of the late Fred L. DeWitt Sr. and Rose Evon DeWitt. Lucille lived in Fairfield County, Connecticut for more than forty years. She worked in food service in Connecticut and catered for many special events. After she retired she traveled and lived in New York, Nevada, and New Mexico. She settled in Florida where she has resided for over twenty years. Lucille was extremely generous and helped her family and had made some very close friends over her lifetime. She enjoyed cooking and preparing food and making everyone comfortable during the holidays as well as every other day of the year. We all enjoyed and looked forward to her generous spirit and her famous trademark banana bread. She is survived by four children, a daughter, Janet Goetz, three sons, John F. Morissette, Sr., Guy Haralson, and Gary Haralson. She has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family. A graveside memorial service for the family will be planned in New York at a date to be determined by John F. Morissette, Sr.
