COOK, Lucile M., 97, of Zephyrhills, FL, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 11, 2022 while residing at Advent Health South Care Center. Lucile was born on January 21, 1925 to parents, Nelson and Velma McCracken in Grenada, CO, where she was one of six children. Lucile continued her educational journey after graduating high school, where she proudly attended Iowa State University and earned her bachelors degree in Home Economics, she made excellent use of her degree while working as an adult education teacher for the State of Florida. Even though Lucile had a passion for education, she loved traveling, she made many traveling accomplishments each time she was able to check another state and country off her list, she was even able to travel to all fifty states, and many different countries. Lucile is survived by her children; LuRae Pasquini (Mauro) of Towson, MD, Shirley Lashley of Camas, WA, Ronald Cook Sr. (Stacey) of Colbert, GA, Janice Alvaranga of North Miami Beach, FL, and Patricia Cook (Norman Hicks) of Thonotosassa, FL, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and sister, Alice Hobson. Arrangements are to be announced at a later date.
