Luciano "Chano" Sanchez 80, of Dade City, FL passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019 in Zephyrhills. He was born December 15, 1938 in Willacy County, TX to Braulio & Guadalupe Lugo Sanchez. He was a longtime area resident and worked as a truck driver in the concrete industry. Chano is survived by 4 children: Lusiano Sanchez Jr, Tonua Williams, Luciano B. Sanchez Jr, Maria Denton; 11 siblings: Joe Sanchez, Pete Sanchez, Roy Sanchez, Johnny Sanchez, Domingo Sanchez, Junior Sanchez, Fela Sanchez, Anita Diaz, Lupe Caudill, Lucy Sanchez, Maria Sanchez; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Carolyn Sue Sanchez; and 2 siblings: Primo and Santos. Funeral Services will be held 11am Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens. The family will receive friends for viewing from 5pm-7pm Friday evening and 9am-11am Saturday morning at the funeral home. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or those that wish may make donations in his memory to Gulfside Regional Hospice.
