Louise Ann Myers, 92, passed away Monday evening at Heartland of Zephyrhills. She was the daughter of John and Casandra "Cassie" Josey Gibson. Louise was born in Conecuh County, Alabama, moving to New York in 1944 upon her marriage to Edwin Myers. Louise was a member of the PTA and a Girl Scout leader; she assisted the local precinct with their youth programs. Later in life she became a volunteer for a Senior Citizen Center. Louise retired from Herbert A. Post, a paper product distribution company. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin in 1991; her brothers: Dennis, Edward, and Marvin Gibson; sisters: Bernice Gibson and Myrtle Fowler. She is survived by her sons: Robert (Claire) Myers, Bruce (Dianna) Myers; daughter: Debbie Romano (Sal); granddaughters: Kim Celenza, Michelle Hoskins (Randy); grandsons: Jarrett (Lori) Myers, John DAugustine and David Myers; great granddaughters: Hannah, Haley, Gracie, and Sarah; sister: Shirley Surrency (Danny). She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held from 4-6 pm on Friday, February 2 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Hwy 301 location. Inurnment will be at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
