Grossenbacher, Louis Steve was called home to be with Jesus on June 1, 2013. His wife, Sharon Pinkerton Grossenbacher, the love of his life, was at his side. He was born January 18, 1936, in Tampa, Florida and grew up in Lutz. He has lived in Pasco County since 1990. He was preceded by His mother Florence Freeman Grossenbacher, father Ernest Grossenbacher, brother Ernest Grossenbacher, sisters Lena Grossenbacher Blackwell and Florence Grossenbacher Dennison. Steve has four children Terrie Grossenbacher Dileo, husband Joseph Dileo, James Grossenbacher, Karen Grossenbacher and Amy Grossenbacher Thacker, husband Christopher Thacker; eight grandchildren Jeremy Dileo, Wife Mindy Simpson Dileo, Amy Dileo Meining, Husband Joshua Meining, Tami Grossenbacher Volkert, husband Chad Volkert, Jamie Grossenbacher Alfonso, husband Stuart Alfonso, James Grossenbacher, wife Jana Albury Grossenbacher, Scott Grossenbacher, Joshua Kelley, wife Kristina Marietta Kelley, Alexis Kelley, seven great-grandchildren Hannah Simpson, Connor Pawlowski, Katelyn Danielle Dileo, Nathan Alfonso, Caitlyn Anne Volkert, Emma Blair Grossenbacher, Carli Brie Grossenbacher. He served in the U.S. Navy Reserve for 6 years. He retired in 1989 from GTE as the Safety Director after 33 years of service and became a small business owner. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, 50 plus year Mason Tampa lodge 240, member of Tampa 912 Pasco Chapter, Republican Executive Committee Wesley Chapel Republican Club, Supported Heritage Foundation and Liberty Council. He loved God, his Family & Friends and served his Country. Friends and Family visitation will be on Wednesday June 5, 2013 from 11-12 with funeral service at 12 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens. Donations can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in his name and would be appreciated. www.pancan.org
