Louis DePalma Jr, 68, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away suddenly on the morning of February 13, 2023, in Polk City, FL. "Louie" was born to parents Louis DePalma and Rosella DePalma (nee Midili) on November 16, 1954, in Camden New Jersey. He grew up in Atco, NJ and graduated from St. Joseph High School in Hammonton, Class of 1972. He attended the University of Saint Louis before heading south to the sunshine state in the early 80s. With his contagious sense of humor and warm personality, Louie was a natural born salesman who sold everything from crackers to guns to towels before starting his flourishing olive business. He loved being "The Olive Guy", but he was many other things - a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandfather, an uncle, a musician, an amateur photographer, a home chef, an animal lover, and an avid biker who adored his Indian Roadmaster. Frequently self-described as "amazin, humble, and totally normal", Louie was a man who held strong conviction in his beliefs and would do anything to put smiles on the faces of his family and friends. Louie is survived by his devoted wife Dawn (nee Londo), son Louis DePalma III (Nina), stepson Josh Sielitzsky, his beloved grandchildren Joshua, MaKayla, Cayden, Gavin, Landon, and Autumn, sister Julia Duffy (Alan), uncle Paul Midili, aunt Angela Sweeney, his sisters- and brothers-in-law in Buffalo, NY, and his many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews, and a number of cousins too impossible to count. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Joseph and sister Angela, and his stepson Jeremy Sielitzsky.
