Obituary

Louis Alioto was born in Brooklyn, New York November 28, 1955 and passed away just shy of his 70th birthday on November 11, 2025. He graduated high school in Florida in Miami in 1973. He went onto Miami Dade Community College, University of Florida at Gainesville, and then the University of Nebraska graduate school for psychotherapy and mental health counseling where he earned his LMHC degree. He practiced in Atlanta, Georgia, and in recent years in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Louis touched many lives and helped patients navigate the trials of life. Louis married his forever love, Linda, in 2017 in a heartfelt private ceremony on their dock overlooking the Choctaw Bay. Through their many travels over the years, the outpouring of the love of those friends all over the globe has helped him transition into the sunset of his life. He leaves his broken-hearted wife and partner of 17 years Linda Coiro, his mother Blanche Morgan 91, his brother Gary Alioto and fiancé Luz Santos, his sister, Linda Alioto Robinson and brother-in-law, Leo Robinson, nieces Jennifer, Lucia, Jackie, Tracy, Clarissa, Sarah, Samantha and nephew Anthony, his sister-in-law and husband Phyllis and Glenn Darcy, deceased father James and deceased siblings Christine, and James Jr., dear cousins in Northern Ireland and many beloved pets throughout the years. We would also like to extend our thanks and the gift of true family and friendship at the end of his journey to Gary Alioto and fiancé Luz Santos, Barry Brennan and Michael Hayley, Scott and Rebecca Jones, Sharon and David Chroman, Sara Robinette, Chula Regati and her beautiful Buddhist chanting, niece Sarah Alioto Mendolia and stepson Devin Unice, and Karen, Amanda and Dawn, our house and kitty sitters, who all helped to ease the pain in a time of sadness and distress visiting from a location far from home. Many words of love and comfort from family and friends all over the globe, all the people's lives that were positively impacted by Louis' selfless help and advice…. too many to mention, thank you all. Louis truly lived a loving and giving life. He fought a valiant battle against the return of his cancer, multiple myeloma. God bless Louis in the afterlife where he will live peacefully and pain-free. "Tutto andrò bene" Louis. Everything will be OK. We will love you always and see you again when God calls us back to His Kingdom of Heaven. My dear Louis, of all the places I've travelled in the world, my favorite place was always next to you. Love forever, Linda.
