Lorraine Marcella Giffen passed away June 19, 2024 in Brandon, Fl. She was born December 2, 1939 in Waverly Township to Edward and  and Alma Zurhorst.

Beloved mother, wife, aunt, and friend has made the final transition to heaven. She is already missed by so many.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her boloved husband, Walter (Bud) Giffen; daughter, Rose Rhoden; siblings, Bessie Johnson, Lois Cummings and

George Zurhorst. She is survived by 7 children, Alma Casey (Michael) of Brandon, FL, Thelma Helms (Otis Sr.) of Farmington, MO, Deborah Powell  (Michael) of Gibson TN,

Bessie Cook (Jackie) of Zephyrhills FL, James Canady of Brooksville FL Joy Bryan (Shawn) of Trenton TN and

Shannon Giffen of PA; siblings, Evelyn Horne and James Zurhorst;  27 grandchildren; 51great grandchildren and 11

great great grandchildren as well as so many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family who love her dearly.

The Broken Chain:

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name

In Life we loved you dearly in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone for of us went with you

You left us peaceful memories; your love is still our guide.

And though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.

Our family chain is broken; nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.
