In Loving Memory of Lori Diane Walden Carson

Zephyrhills, Florida

November 5, 1960 – May 23, 2025

With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of Lori Diane Walden Carson, a woman whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and unwavering love to all who knew her.

Born on November 5, 1960, in Homestead, Florida, Lori was the cherished daughter of Gerald and Genella Walden. She was a devoted wife to Dale Leroy Carson, whom she married on June 13, 1992, and a proud and loving mother to Rachel Carson and Steven Carson.

Lori was compassionate, always putting others before herself, offering kindness in moments big and small. Her warm and loving nature made every space feel like home, a testament to her ability to comfort, uplift, and embrace those around her.

Her goofy sense of humor brightened even the hardest days, a reminder that joy can be found in the simplest moments. She carried herself with charisma, effortlessly drawing people in with her radiant energy, wisdom, and grace. Beyond her beautiful heart, she was truly beautiful in every way—her smile, her spirit, and the love she poured into the world.

Lori was a beloved sister-in-law to Sandy Brown (Carson), David & Linda Garner (Carson), a caring aunt to Stacy Brown (Carson), Brian Garner (Carson), and AJ Kinsman (Carson), and a joyful great-aunt to Kai, Seth, and Wyatt Alminaque (Brown/Carson). She leaves behind a devoted family who will forever cherish her memory.

As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her life, the memories she gifted us, and the love she leaves behind. Lori will forever be cherished, remembered, and missed, but her legacy lives on in the kindness and joy she shared with each of us.

Visitation will be held on June 2, 2025, from 6 – 8 PM at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. A Funeral Service will take place on June 3, 2025, at 11 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zephyrhills, Florida, followed by burial at Crystal Springs Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life, to be held at Crystal Springs Community Center on June 3, 2025, from 1 – 6 PM.
