Loretta Del Pitts, 82, Lacoochee Fl, passed away on Friday July 12,2024, in Lacoochee, FL. Loretta was born on December 9, 1941, in Roanoke Rapids, NC to the late Winifred Zephyr (Happy) Mitchell & Mittie Louise Mitchell. She was their only child. Loretta received her GED and took courses @ Halifax College in NC. She was a bookkeeper, accountant, front desk clerk, and truck driver. During her lifetime she lived in 6 different states mainly residing in NC & FL. She loved to crochet, read, study her bible, puzzles, and listening to music. Her greatest achievement was raising her children to be strong and self-sufficient. Loretta was strong willed, faithful, truthful, discreet, and supportive. She leaves to cherish her memories Lonny Edwards (Marina), Linda Craven, Lenny Edwards (Trini). 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Larry Pitts.
