WHITE, Loren Arthur Jr., 76, of Zephyrhills, Fl., entered into eternal rest on November 12, 2021. He was known by many as "Sonny", and was the son of Loren White, Sr., and Wilma (Belmain) White, and born on August 12, 1945 in Washburn, Maine. Sonny graduated from Caribou High School in 1963, and November of that same year, he married his high school sweetheart, Brenda Jacobs. They settled in Caribou and Washburn for many years. Sonny loved Aroostook County! He had a passion for camping, fishing, NASCAR racing, truck pulls, etc., but most of all, he loved and cherished every chance he had to spend with his loving family. In 1980 he moved his family to the Bangor Maine area and worked for 28 years as a sales and operation manager for Brake Service and parts in Bangor, Maine. He loved his career, and was always a very hard, dedicated working man. In 2008 he retired and lived mostly in Florida, but always came back to Maine for a few months in the summer. Maine was always his favorite state. In his retirement, he spent his years by volunteering and assisting others in the retirement communities and enjoyed every minute of it! He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Brenda White, and their two sons, Scott White Sr. and Bonnie, of Benton, Maine, and Steven White of Clearwater, Fl., Grandson; Scott White Jr. and wife, Lizzy of Vasselboro, Maine, Great Grandsons; Levi, 4, and Ezra White, 1, of Vasselboro, Maine. Sonny absolutely loved those little ones! He also leaves behind his mother-in-law Roberta Jacobs of Zephyrhills, Fl., Sister-in-laws Dianna Jacobs of Terre Haute, Indiana, and Brenda Lee and Husband Ed of South Caso, Maine and Brother-in-law, Brian Jacobs of Dade City, Fl. Preceded in death by his loving parents and sister. It was Sonnys wish to not have any services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or a local food pantry, can be made in his honor.
