Lois Lucina (Johnson) Wachob 96 of Zephyrhills passed away on April 10, 2023. Lois was born on August 4, 1926, in Loma Linda, California to parents Bayard Johnson & Lorena Ward Johnson who preceded her in death along with her husband Vasco Wachob who she married Jan 2, 1959, in Dade City, Fl. and passed Jan 2, 1994, and sister: Ruth Johnson Little. Lois graduated High School in California she then obtained her Bachelors Degree from UCLA, Berkley, CA, and earned her Masters Degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Fl. Lois retired after working for Pasco County Schools as an educator for over 30 years. She spent her childhood traveling the globe as an "Army Brat". She lived in California while finishing her undergraduate studies, and settled in Zephyrhills, in 1951. She liked to fish, read and work in her yard. She watched the Army/Navy game every year and would watch the Triple Crown if the horse was good enough to be a contender. She was a Charter Member of the Dade City chapter of the Loyal Order of the Moose. Survivors are her Daughters; Winona (Wachob) Mc David (Gary); Misha (Wachob) Duffield (Paul) Grandchildren: Amie Wentworth, Gary McDavid Jr., W. Ray Meyer, Randale Wachob, Vasco Wachob, Lorena McDavid, Chris Wentworth, Caitlin Raza, Bayard McDavid, Amber Wentworth Ervin, Amanda Krum, Ashlee Wentworth, Levie McDavid, Lulu McDavid, Tyler McDavid, and Todd Duffield II. Great - Grandchildren: Hayley Meyer, Alyssa Meyer, Taylor Meyer, Tristan Wachob, Bryson Raza, Emilie Lopez, Brantley Raza, Haven Krum, Easton Raza, Piercen Wentworth, Emerie Krum, Harper Raza, Sunny Krum, and Jackson Ervin, and her beloved Dog: Bess. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel from 12-1 pm with funeral services starting at 1 pm followed by burial at Chapel Hill Garden, Dade City, Fl Memorial Donation There are no gallery images.
