Tali, Lois Joan, 90, of Zephyrhills, Fl passed away peacefully on February 1, 2021.
She was born on March 4, 1930 to Mark and Alma Young. Lois grew up in Flint, MI.
She graduated with her Master of Education degree from Eastern Michigan University and was also certified to teach the Hearing Impaired and the Blind. Loiss teaching degree spanned over thirty years in the Holly and Atherton, MI school districts.
She married Edward (Ed) Tali on December 6, 1952. They were introduced by Eds sister, Pearl (deceased).
She is survived by one sister Sue (Ed) Lannon of Flushing, MI. She is survived by her daughter Jamie (Mark) Stratman of Scottsdale, AZ; granddaughter Shannon (Adam) Schomaker and great granddaughters Scarlett and Vivian of Sun Prairie, WI. She is also survived by her son Mike and grandson Bryan Tali of Zephyrhills, Fl.
Lois and Ed enjoyed many years of socializing with their friends of Holly, MI. They loved dancing, musicals and Michigan football. She knew all the players on all the teams.
Lois was an accomplished bridge player. She was in many bridge groups and later taught bridge. She had a passion for collecting primitive antiques and her collections and home were published in several Michigan newspapers.
Loiss nickname was "Baker" coined by Mike and his friends for always baking delicious cookies! Mom was always positive and said "you can do it!"
Lois will be buried alongside Ed in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fl.
