Lois Gillette, 96 of Zephyrhills, FL passed away on June 23, 2013. Lois Trulie Merritt was born August 29, 1916, in Syracuse. NY. She spent most of her life in Brewerton, NY and graduated from Central Square High School in 1934. She married Donald (Pete) Gillette (now deceased) in September of 1934. Together they owned and operated Gillette's Shell Station and small grocery store. They retired in 1967. They had four children (Donald (deceased); David of Boca Raton, FL; Nancy Cuomo of Rotterdam, NY; and Marlene Burnley of Gansevoot, NY. She has 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Mrs. Gillette's remains will be placed in the family plot at the North Syracuse Cemetery.
