Loden "Buddy" Harmening 78, of Dade City, FL passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018. He was born September 23, 1940 in Tampa, FL to Christopher William & Mary Kathryn Ellerbee Harmening. He was a dedicated member of the Dade City Church of God and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He retired from the Tampa International Airport after 30 years of service and had also worked with the All American Towing Co. and Thatcher Glass. Buddy is survived by his wife: Wanda Harmening; 7 children: Judy Fagan (Derek), Ronnie Harmening (April), Duane Watts, Donald Watts (Kim), Tammy Worrell (George), Richard Harmening, Rick Brownlow (Christi); siblings: Barbara Stoy, Willie Farmer, Marlene Farmer; 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Christopher William Harmening & Mary Kathryn Farmer; 1 son: Kenneth Wayne Harmening; 1 daughter: Debra Diane Carter; and 6 siblings: Lamar Harmening, Earl Harmening, Christine Cable, Irma Broadhurst, Ruth Sears, Carolyn Browning. Funeral services will be held 3pm Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Dade City Church of God. The family will receive friends for viewing 1 hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery on Wednesday December 26th at 10am. In lieu of flowers, family request donations in his memory to either the American Heart Association or The Shriner's.
