Lloyd Place left his amazing family and earthly home to go be with the Lord on September 29th, 2021 at 12:33 pm.

He was born in Urbana, Illinois on June 22, 1937 to Albert and Cleone Place. He is preceded in death by his mother & father and his two brothers Gene Place and Melvin Place.

He leaves behind his wife of 58 years Marilynn Place. They lived in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Together they had four sons, ten grandchildren and six great-children:

- Lloyd (Chuck) Place and wife Natalie Place, sons Dylan Place and Nic Place

- Don Place and wife Sheri Place, son Logan Place, daughter Megan Santiago and husband Jean Santiago, their children, daughter Lily and son Levi.

- Dan Place and wife Silvana Place, son Jacob Place and daughter Hannah Place

- Joe Place and wife Jennifer Place, daughters Brittany Graham and husband Chris Graham, Taylor Place, sons Jordan Place and Mike Place. Brittanys daughters Virginia Pauley-Graham, Addyson Graham, and son Easton Graham. Taylors son Benjamin Place.

- His Brother Don Place and wife Betty Place

- Sister-in-law Valeria Pummill.

Through his career, Lloyd worked at : Color Corporation developing large photos for commercial accounts; as a construction worker; Supervisor of East Lake Mall Maintenance and he retired from Crawford Insurance Company as an adjuster. After retirement he and Marilynn enjoyed traveling together and working as adjusters during hurricane season.

Lloyd enjoyed serving the Lord and was a faithful member of Northside Assembly of God for 25 years. He played the guitar, sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, drove the bus, and was a Royal Ranger Commander. Lloyd most recently attended Life Church in Wesley Chapel for 24 years where he sang in the choir, was an usher and was part of the counting team.

He also enjoyed collecting antique model cars, watching old movies (especially John Wayne), attending his grandchildrens events and spending time with his family.

A celebration of life Memorial service is being held in honor of Lloyd at Life Church, 6224 Old Pasco Road in Wesley Chapel, Florida on Saturday October 16th at 11:00 am. Friends and family are welcome.
