PETERS, Lisa Claire, age 64, passed away at her home with both of her children by her side, in Zephyrhills, FL on July 2, 2020, from pancreatic cancer.Lisa was born on May 25, 1956, in Detroit, MI to parents Carl "Bo" Anthony Weishaupt II & Sylvia Lois (Schoenherr). She was the firstborn of three children and was raised in Sterling Heights, MI.Lisa graduated in 1974 from Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights, MI. She joined the Army after high school and then the Air Force Reserves, and worked in business administration for many years. In 1993, Lisa decided to change careers and became an automotive worker; she retired from Ford Motor Company in 2009.Lisa was always the life of the party, she had many friends and belonged to several clubs including the Amvets, VFW, and Moose Lodge. She was an avid reader, loved old classic movies, shopping, and the beach. She was a self-described "Hippie/Flower Child" and her favorite scent was lavender. Lisa was fearless, fun-loving, genuine, and unforgettable. She will be missed greatly and will always be loved deeply by the people who loved and cared about her.Along with her parents , Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, Gary J Peters.Loving survivors include one daughter, Christine Pendland; one son, Keith Pendland; three grandchildren: Marissa Pendland, Tyler Walker, and Kaylee Pendland; one stepdaughter, Shanna Bass and grandchildren: Cameron Bass and Kody Harper; one sister, Gayle (Weishaupt) Bogan; one brother, Carl Weishaupt III; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews and several friends who are like family.A memorial service will be held at a later date.
