Linda Darlene Jeltema
Age 70, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, in Zephyrhills, Florida.
Linda was born on September 19, 1955, in Cedar City, Utah, to William Vincent Spencer and Larue Spencer. She grew up surrounded by a large and loving family, including her siblings Vernon Spencer, Kenneth Spencer, Ronald Spencer, Kathy Marshall, and Larry Spencer. She shared many fond memories of her childhood with her brothers and sister, cherishing the close bonds they held.
Linda married the love of her life, John Jeltema, on March 30, 2013, in Zephyrhills, Florida. Together, they built a warm and caring home filled with laughter, faith, and companionship.
Linda dedicated over 40 years to a career in the casino industry, where she was admired for her hard work, professionalism, and cheerful spirit.
She enjoyed quilting, cooking, golfing, bowling, and attending church ladies' meetings. Known for being very loving and giving, Linda had a special way of caring deeply for others and making everyone feel welcome in her presence.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband, John Jeltema; her children Charles Knight, Sheldon Knight (Kimberlina), and Talisa Knight (Jimmy); and her cherished grandchildren Dylan, Mackenzie, Wrylee, and Kaden.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Danny Spencer and Ronald Spencer.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Victory Baptist Church, located at 6950 Forbes Road, Zephyrhills, FL. A visitation will take place at the church prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and ther service starting at 12:00 noon.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family kindly requests that donations be made to
Victory Baptist Church piano fund, in honor of Lindas love for her savior and church.
