Linda McGowin Foster went home to be with our Heavenly Father on January 3, 2021. Linda was born in Dade City, Florida on March 26, 1950, and remained in the surrounding area her entire life. She retired from Pasco County School System where she was the Cafeteria Manager of Lacoochee Elementary. She was a wonderful, kind hearted and loving woman who was totally devoted to our Lord and Savior. If she knew you, she prayed for you. She loved her family dearly and spent every day with them. She never said a cross word to anyone and always told everyone she loved them. Though we will miss her dearly, we rejoice to know that we will see her again. Linda was a member of Clay Sink Baptist Church in Webster, Florida. Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Robert Tally Foster; as well as her parents, Bernard Leonard McGowin and Mae (Truluck); brothers, David McGowin & Everett McGowin, Sr. (Donna), and sister, Jessie Baker. She is survived by her sons, Tim and Steve Foster; siblings, Hazel Mercer (James) and John McGowin (Diana); and her grandchildren, Serena, Lily & Wyatt Foster. A visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 301 Chapel, on Friday, January 8, 2021. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and burial will follow at Trilby Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to the home of Tim and Linda Foster in Webster following the cemetery service, for food and fellowship. Visitation
