Linda Lee Cantu (nee Schauland), 75 of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away Saturday, July 1st, 2023. She was born January 20th, 1948, in Joliet, Illinois to Mary Kern Schauland and Walter Schauland. She was united in marriage to Darryl Cantu on November 11th, 1967, in Joliet, Illinois. Linda graduated with her BSN from Illinois Benedictine College in 1985. In 1992 she received her MHA from Northern Illinois University. She spent her lifetime career as a nurse in numerous clinical areas. She finished her career by transitioning to administration with Home Health and Hospice divisions. Linda lived in Illinois, South Carolina and Florida. She was an avid traveler to Italy, Munich, Paris, and her favorite Treasure Cay. Linda loved her lifelong friends, eating great food and drinking fine wines. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 siblings Caryl Sarcletti and Mark W Schauland. Survivors include her son, Darin (Elizabeth), daughter, Jennifer, grandchildren, Sarah (Trevor) and Daniel, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
